Busy Busy Busy

So it's been a bit over a week, I've been so busy with work and dog stuff/training. Andy finally started agility last week. She was AMAZING, a natural. She was figuring everything out almost immediately. I can't wait to see how well she does this week. In other news, Kody got his last puppy shots today, the stitches are still in his ear, but should be out by next week.

2013 (In Review)

2013 was a good year, and I hope 2014 to be the same. Of course most of my time is spent with my dogs. Xander and Andy, and newly Kody. Nothing makes me happier than having the love and affection of dogs. But sometimes having a reactive dog is challenging, exhausting, frustrating, but more than anything, when looking back, it's made me a better dog owner.

So here is my year in review in no particular order.

 1. Andy made a new friend at the dog park. Gotta love Cattle Dogs.

 2. Anyone who knows me, knows I love Halloween, so when I got these done, I was beyond excited! Thank you so much Charm Nail Spa.
 3. Stanley Park's Ghost Train; one of my favorite things to do for Halloween.

4. Fright Nights at the PNE; so scary!

5. This years Christmas tree. I just had to have a white tree.

6. Finished my Christmas quilt, let me tell you, this took me almost two years to finish. It was a great achievement of 2013.

7. Xander outside on our first snow fall of the year.

8. Our first Bark Box. Such an amazing treat for the fur babies once a month.

9. I somehow caught a photo of Andy smiling. She sure likes walks.

10. My witch Halloween costume. I had to take off my prosthetic nose. I guess I should have thought about that being that I have to wear a mask all day at work.

11. Handsome Xander on a beautiful fall day.

12. Bridgeman Park in North Vancouver. Such a great place to take your dog hiking.

13. The most amazing Haunted Walk I've ever been on. This guy was an amazing actor, he seriously made me cry at one point; And I learned so much about Vancouver. Scary and educational!

14. A glimpse at the Trinity Street Light Festival a couple blocks from my house. It's so festive and really gets you in the Christmas mood. Some people really go all out!

15. Kody; our new puppy! He fell asleep at the vet.

16. Kody and Andy sleeping; unfortunately, they never pick the right bed.

17. Andy at Spanish Banks. Such a beautiful dog beach.

18. My first 90 on World of Warcraft.

19. For the Horde!

20. My first Vancouver Canadians baseball game. So much fun. I can't wait for the summer.

21. Andy and I at Spanish Banks when the tide was out. You could almost walk clear across the inlet, a lot of fun for the pups and kept us cool in the sun.

22. I just thought this drink was so pretty.

23. Such a beautiful spring here in Vancouver when all the Cherry Blossom trees blossom.

24. Another one of Andy and I at Spanish Banks, you probably got by now that this is our favorite spot. So amazing when the tide is out.

25. Got a new amazing tattoo by the lovely Geoff McCann at Sanitary Electric Tattoo Co.

26. Giving blood. Waddup?

27. Anton's, one of my favorite spots in Burnaby. You get a pen if you can finish. (I never have and usually have 2 days of food left over)

28. Got my donor card in the mail; it was official! Seriously guys, it's so important to donate as often as you can, it's one of the only things you can keep giving.

29. The lovely hubby bought me this on an outing with a friend. Seriously, how cute is it?

30. Oh, nothing, just making the best mermaid castle ever!

31. Love visiting my home in Quebec. So peaceful, I could live there all the time in the summer. The winter...not so much.

32. Oh, that's just me with my new braces. Can you tell how excited I was, yeah, it's been a year and I can tell you I'm not that happy about them anymore.

33. I'll leave you with this last photo. Hopefully you find time to relax this year and enjoy life. A lot can pass you by, sometimes you just have to stop to enjoy it all, and see the beauty in the simple things.

Happy New Year

The pups slept through the countdown until the fireworks started. It's lovely having a dog (Xander) that really hates fireworks. Luckily Andy and Kody could care less, they just slept through it all, and in the wrong bed. Funny how they never choose the bed intended for them. On another note, check out our shop, maybe you want your little fur baby to have something for the new year!

Boxing Day

Spending my Boxing Day making new dog bandanas rather than spending money on things I don't really need. Because after yesterday, I have to say, I'm all present/gift/new thinged out. Unless it's fabric of course.

Merry late christmas!

Doggie Bow Ties!

Andy sporting a doggie bow tie. Such a pretty girl. Don't worry, she doesn't know that she's not suppose to wear a bow tie.
